Board of Directors
Among our founding principles was to construct a governance structure that will encompass the global best experience in the non-government sector. Board of Directors is the body of ABC that provides strategic guidance for the organization and serves as a controlling organ that reports to the General Assembly on the matters of NGO's performance.
Following are the Directors that have been appointed based on the May 2009 election results (the election procedures are elaborated in the Bylaws section).

Aleksandr Khachaturyan (CV here)
Aleksandr was enrolled in the ABC activities within a year after its establishment and has been elected to the position of a Board member. His main activities include covering all legal aspects of organisation's existence and operation. He also runs projects encompassing issues related to the development and promotion of legal education and attractive legal environment in Armenia.
Aleksandr is a legal counsel of Capital Asset Management CJSC one of major players in Armenian capital markets. He is also a legal counsel of Corporate Governance Center, which provides consulting on legal and corporate issues to Armenian and foreign companies and international institutions acting in Armenia.

Artur Danielayn (CV here)
A current Board member and the Secretary of the Board, Artur Danielyan was among the first actively involved members of ABC, whose primary objective at the moment is to implement the necessary reforms inside the organization in order to bring the governance and accountability standards up to a world class level.
Artur holds a degree in Business Management received from the European Business School London. Current place of employment is Gegamet plus CJSC mining & exploration company, where he holds the position of the Commercial Director in charge of supply chain management, marketing and media.

Charles Masraff (CV here)
A current Board Member and an active member of ABC since the foundation of the organization, Charles Masraff, graduate of Oxford University, has a strong background in successful small business management in the UK. He moved here from the UK in the summer of 2006.His primary objective is to help Armenia develop into a fully-fledged, modern, democratic and influential country in keeping with its history and the talent of its people.

Hayk Harutyunyan (CV here)
Chairman of the Board of Directors, Hayk Harutyunyan, founded ABC in February 2008. Having studied at the Regent's School (IB Diploma), Lancaster University (BA Hons) and Cambridge University (MSt), Hayk was well aware about the benefits that the British educational system can offer. Hence he decided to create a structure that would bring together all the people that have shared a common study or work experience in the UK and create a format or a social/professional facility that would utilize the potential of British university graduates for the benefit of the Republic of Armenia.
Current place of employment of Hayk is the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, where he is a senior expert and analyst at the Defence Policy Department. Hayk is also the founder and the chairman of Global Bridge Educational Centre.

Kachik Gevorgyan (CV here)
A current Board Member and the founder of Armenian Association for Academic Partnership and Support (ARMACAD), Dr. Gevorgyan has entered the Department of Iranian Studies, Yerevan State University in 1997 at the age of 14 he defended his PhD thesis in June 2006. From 01.10.2006 till 28.02.2007 he was a Research Fellow at the Department of Iranian Studies, Goettingen University, Germany. From September of 2007 he is teaching at the Yerevan State University as an Assistant Professor of Iranian Studies.
Being a visiting scholar and teaching assistant at the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University, USA and participating in different academic events at Harvard, Yale, Cambridge, Oxford, St. Petersburg University, UCLA, Michigan (Ann Arbor), Boston University, Central European University, Tbilisi University, Tehran University and many more has led Khachik to become an advocate of academic programs at ABC.

Paruyr Hakobyan (CV here)
A current Board Member and a graduate of Webster Graduate School London. His main objective is to guide the financial performence and accountability of the organization. Paruyr believes that the performance of his team depends on the leader's abilities to empower. How well a person performs depends on motivation.
Paruyr Hakobyan hold a BA degree in Finance and Crediting recieved from the Armenian Sate University of Economics and an MBA degree recieved in Webster Graduate School London. In both instanses he was marked with destinction.
At the moment Paruyr is the CEO of the leading construction and engeeniring company in Armenia, Arpa-Sevan OJSC.
