Armenian British Chamber of Commerce (ABCC)
We strongly believe that developing economic ties between our respective countries could become a cornerstone for the integration of our respective economies with the view of Armenia becoming a full member of the European family of nations. This is of particular importance in the light of the recent decision to open up the Turkish-Armenian border, which will enhance Armenia’s position as a key connecting point between Europe, Russia, Turkey, Iran, Central Asia, and the Middle East.
We well appreciate that investing in Armenia may not be at the top of British businesses’ agendas at this stage. Yet, we now feel that it is of paramount importance that the British financial and business players look more favorably at the opportunities that Armenia can offer.
In order to facilitate this mutual interest and to attract British investment into the country considered by some Western analysts a “Caucasian Tiger” we have now established the Armenian British Chamber of Commerce (ABCC).
