It is a traditional Gaelic social dance event, which has originated in Ireland and Scotland. Céilidh was originally meant to facilitate courting and prospects of marriage for young people and, although discos and nightclubs have displaced céilidhs to a considerable extent, they are still an important and popular social outlet in rural parts of Ireland and Scotland, especially in the Gaelic-speaking regions.

ABC's Second Anniversary!
On 20th of February, ABC celebrated its second anniversary at one of the most stylish and modern venues in Yerevan! This marked "two magnificent years full of achievements and excitement" as the chairman of ABC Hayk Harutyunyan mentioned. Truly, this event was to reconnect all the ABC members and those who are deeply involved in ABC in order to celebrate the joyful event and mark a new year which should be better than the previous two.
2009 ABC's Annual Yerevan Birthday Bash
Again ABC's Annual Yerevan Birthday Bash! This time it was held it at the Chameleon Club on 10 October 2009. The live jazz in the beginning, in addition to special "Yerevan Cocktail" created the atmosphere only typical to ABC parties. The jazz and relaxing atmosphere, which gave chance for people to connect, quickly evolved into fabulous dancing party with DJ playing the best hits from all music genres. Pictures.
