A doctrinal review of selected Armenian judicial decisions shall be performed by the Legal Committee of the ABC.

It is undisputable that there is a lack of transparency of judicial decisions of Armenian courts. To find one a student, a scientist and even a practitioner has a long way to go. To do it, is just a small part of the task. To understand it and moreover to get acquainted with an underlying legal policy (legal doctrine) is a hard task requiring an extensive research on relevant statutes, precedent, tradition, policy, purposes and consequences of the decision. 

The aim of the project is to elaborate an overall methodology of doctrinal interpretation of judicial decisions and following this methodology to produce reviews on selected decisions of high instances of Armenian judiciary.

The main advantage of the project is that every visitor of our home page will have an instrument to understand what the real implication of the commented judicial decision is and what is a policy that Armenian judiciary espoused to perform its' constitutional functions.
